Hi, I'm Trish!

I know having a stranger come to you and work in your personal space can be intimidating. So here's a little bit about me...

I have been married for eight years (boy that went fast!), am a mother of three kids, a cat and a giant dog. Other than the cat, all of them are bigger than I am, including my dog!

I am a fourth generation born and raised Victorian, and currently reside in Sooke. I just can’t get enough of the greenery and the ocean. I’m an island girl through and through.

I enjoy taking my ‘little’ dog for a walk, walking around town, hiking the trails, and taking in the tranquility of the beach. I truly love to absorb my surroundings, appreciate the beauty everywhere and stop to smell the roses every chance I get.

Vancouver Island is, and will always be home, but boy I love to travel! Some of the places I’ve visited are Mexico, Disneyland, and the East Coast of Canada. I had an amazing opportunity to travel to Paris to help my son pursue his dreams and I loved it! I returned in the fall of 2022 for a wonderful dream getaway with some great colleagues of mine. Paris was such a success, in October of 2023, we added Italy! It was epic! Next, Greece! I’m very blessed to be able to do what I love and travel with it too. 

Growing up I was a bit of a tomboy, but in my teenage years, I discovered makeup. I started collecting makeup and although I was overwhelmed not knowing what it was all for, I was still inspired to learn.

I worked in sales for decades, alongside many different careers. I’ve worked in everything from the service industry, to pharmaceutical research, dispatch and accounting (oddly enough all detail oriented jobs). When I realized I was missing fulfilment in my work, l decided to direct my focus to my passion. I am inspired to teach and apply makeup, rather than just selling it. So I decided to enroll to the world renowned makeup artistry school Blanche Macdonald Center, to learn everything I could, and graduated with honours.

Since then, I have worked with several elite brands, including 8+ years at MAC Cosmetics. As well as being an educator at MAC Cosmetics, I have also instructed at a local college in Victoria for makeup students. 

Working with people directly has always been something I love and why I enjoy what I do.

I have had many women begin their session timid and perhaps self conscious. After spending an hour or so in my chair, they leave feeling like a stronger, polished, beautiful, sexy and more confident.  It is my goal to provide a safe, positive environment, to empower you and help you see the beauty I see.
